LONDON, England – 17 July 2026 – Soor Capital, the alternative investment group, has launched its alternative credit platform with the completion of a senior secured financing of 37 Lombard Street, a freehold office building in the City of London. It is the first transaction completed under the platform.
The platform lends through Soor Capital Finance PCC, a Jersey protected cell company, with Soor Capital Management (DIFC) Limited, regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority, acting as investment manager and nominee for investors.
The Transaction
Soor Capital Finance PCC acted as sole lender, providing a five-year senior secured facility to support the acquisition of the freehold by an owner-occupier borrower. The facility was originated and held directly on the platform as a bilateral loan, structured on an interest-only basis with repayment at maturity, and delivered on an agreed timetable to give the borrower certainty of funding.
The Alternative Credit Platform
Soor Capital's alternative credit platform provides flexible, secured financing against UK real estate. Each financing sits in its own ring-fenced cell, allowing capital to be deployed quickly and every transaction to stand on its own.
The platform provides financing in three ways:
- Direct lending. Originating and providing senior and mezzanine financing directly to borrowers.
- Co-lending. Participating alongside other institutional lenders on larger facilities.
- Platform facilitation. Enabling other institutions to originate and structure their own financings through Soor Capital Finance PCC, giving them access to an established issuance platform without the time and cost of building their own.
